GS1 Supply Chain - Training workshop Saturday 21st September 2019

GS1 & SCAP has continuously been engaged with key sectors in endeavors to transform working within institutions and organizations. In order to understand and successfully participate in these strategic applications of GS1 Standards, Education and Training workshops are held at different levels. In this regard we have planned workshops on September 21st (GS1 Supply Chain) at Pearl Continental - Karachi.[ONLY KARACHI]

Our main trainers for the day will be Terry Papadis, from our affiliated organisation: GS1 Australia and Qaysar Alam, President Supply Chain Association of Pakistan.

Mr. Terry Papadis is Manager Education & Training. Prior to joining GS1 Australia, Terry has worked in the retail industry, in a variety of head office roles across buying, operations management and supply chain. Furthermore, Terry was actively involved in the implementation of many aspects of the GS1 System with some of Australia's leading retailers. Terry is a graduate from the University of Melbourne in both Arts and Science and holds a postgraduate degree in Supply Chain from RMIT University (Australia). Terry has a strong passion for education and strives to deliver training that is interactive, engaging and outcome focused.

Qaysar Alam is having 30+ years of experience in supply chain. He worked 29 years at Unilever Pakistan where for the last 8 years as Vice President, responsible for Supply Chain, its strategies and operations. He was also on the Board of Director of Unilever and also member of Audit Committee and Management Committee. Earlier, he worked in Exxon Pakistan and ARAMCO SA. He is currently working as Supply Chain Consultant and also Trainer/Speaker. He is also on the Board of Directors of GS1, Al Shaheer Corporation and also part of ISCEA and ISCAR.
